Missing you and Library Lion

Today I was going to tell you about more things that World Book Web has for you, but I changed my mind.

I’m giving you a link to one of my favorite stories on Storyline Online.  It’s called “Library Lion.”  I bought this book for my self before I was even a library lady because I loved it so much.  Now, I’m not saying that I want a lion to come to the media center at our school, but it’s a great book.

In this story, the people in the library get used to the Library Lion being around and when he’s not, they miss him, a LOT. Guess what?  I miss you – A LOT! Our library without you all coming in to see us and get new books is sad.  I am very busy at my house, getting new books ready for next year and planning bulletin boards and making plans, but I MISS YOU! I miss your faces and talking to you and seeing you and even saying “WALK” at the bus loop in the afternoon. I even miss the bus loop and I know how crazy that sounds.
I cannot wait until we get to be in school together again.  I hope that the things I’m telling you about on this page are helping you read books and find things to do, but I’ll be really, really happy when I can see you and talk to you again!!

You can find this story (and others) read aloud by famous people at StoryLine Online. There's a link right over there are the side.  And guess what? There is an AR test for this book. Here's your  AR information:
